Chief Mate

The Chief Mate at Lindblad Expeditions is responsible for supervising and training the deck force, assisting with vessel piloting, navigation, safety, and small boat operations. This role involves working approximately 12 hours a day on a rotational schedule of 6 weeks on and 6 weeks off, with duties that include standing watches, administrative tasks, and ensuring the cleanliness and security of the vessel.
