What they actually want (must-haves)
  • 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or Cloud Engineering in a large-scale production environment
  • Expertise in Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices
  • Proven expertise in Azure and operational knowledge of at least one other cloud (GCP or AWS)
  • Significant experience in designing and operating an IAM layer in production, including identity federation (Keycloak or equivalent) and protocols like OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security practices including secret management (Vault or equivalent), cloud IAM policies, Kubernetes RBAC, and network segmentation
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
Nice to have
  • Experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure + GCP or AWS) in production
  • Experience in designing or managing an Internal Developer Platform (Backstage)
  • In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes including architecture, security, resource optimization, and multi-tenancy
  • Experience in implementing reliability engineering practices such as advanced observability, incident management, and chaos engineering
  • Experience with GenAI tools for workflow automation or interaction with other platforms via MCPs
What the job really is

As a Cloud Engineer at Ekimetrics, you will be part of the Platform Engineering team, responsible for designing and operating the infrastructure and services that support their Data and AI products. Your role will involve overseeing the entire application lifecycle, from infrastructure design to production operation, focusing on automation, security, and developer experience. You will also lead architectural projects, define technical standards, and mentor team members to enhance their skills.
