  • Master's or doctorate Degree
  • Active state physician license without restrictions
  • State CDS certification and DEA registration
  • Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification within 180 days of hire and maintain certification thereafter
  • Must be eligible for enrollment to provide services to Medicare and Medi-Cal participants

What the job really is

As a Primary Care Physician and Pod Leader, you will provide community-based care to vulnerable seniors, focusing on holistic and comprehensive patient care. Your role involves performing in-person assessments, developing personalized care plans with an interdisciplinary team, and coordinating patient discharge without hospital rounds, allowing you to see an average of 8 patients a day. You will work regular hours with a rotating on-call schedule and have opportunities for growth within the organization.
