  • 6+ years of relevant work experience in on premise datacenter environments, private/public cloud, SAN, and networking
  • Relevant Datacenter or Cloud certification accreditations
  • BS in Computer Science or related experience
  • Strong understanding of hyper-converged infrastructure
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
  • Expertise in VMware data center stack; VxRail, vSphere, NSX, vROP’s, and storage
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Tanium, Windows/Linux patching, 3rd party application patching and Reporting
  • Knowledge of Rubrik backups, hands on experience with cloud storage (Qumulo, NetApp)
  • Knowledge of Azure, Networking, NSG, EntraID, Storage Accounts, Private Endpoints, Virtual Machines, etc.
  • Experience with Zerto, including VPG Migration and VPG Setup
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and Account Management
What the job really is

The Sr. Systems Engineer at Verra Mobility will collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to implement and operate cloud technologies, primarily in Microsoft Azure. Daily responsibilities include managing hyperconverged platforms, implementing monitoring frameworks, and providing support for complex technologies. The role also involves developing automation scripts, ensuring system availability, and participating in incident management and after-hours support as needed.
