What they actually want (must-haves)
  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program
  • Current unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of practice
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in ambulatory care, vascular, surgical, procedural, or physician practice setting, including at least six months as a UVVC Licensed Practical Nurse I (or equivalent experience)
  • Demonstrated mastery of standard operating procedures related to infection prevention, sterile technique, medication safety, clinical documentation, inventory management, and patient safety
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
Nice to have
  • Previous experience serving as a clinical lead, charge nurse, preceptor, or mentor preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within 60 days

The Lead Licensed Practical Nurse (Lead LPN) will oversee the quality and competency of nursing services provided by LPNs in the Lower Manhattan area. The position requires travel to existing markets for up to four weeks as part of the role's responsibilities.
