What they actually want (must-haves)
  • 7–10+ years of progressive finance experience, including experience at the Controller, Head of Finance, or Director level in a high-growth or startup environment
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, tax, and compliance
  • Experience building or scaling financial operations and internal controls from the ground up
  • Track record supporting fundraising, investor relations, and board reporting
  • Background in hardware, manufacturing, or deep tech, including experience with BOM/product costing, inventory accounting, capital equipment budgeting, or supply chain finance
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or NetSuite, cap table tools, and Excel/Google Sheets
Nice to have
  • Prior public accounting experience, spanning both large firms and startups
  • Active CPA license
  • Experience with equipment financing or other non-dilutive financing structures common to hardware companies
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, managing costing/margin analysis for physical products, working with contract manufacturers, or overseeing capex for production lines
What the job really is

The Director of Finance at Noble Machines will be responsible for establishing and managing the financial operations of the company as it scales.
