What the job really is

As a Staff Platform Engineer, Security at True Anomaly, you will focus on building security tooling and implementing security controls for cloud environments, specifically in Azure and AWS. This hands-on role involves writing production code, solving complex security challenges, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure secure cloud architectures. You will also manage PKI infrastructure and HashiCorp Vault, while leveraging AI tools to enhance security workflows.

Benefits
  • Colorado Base Salary: $205,000–$295,000
  • California Base Salary: $215,000–$310,000

Things to weigh
  • Requires coordination across distributed teams including spacecraft engineers, ground operations, software developers, and government partners
  • May require participation in on-call rotation for security incident response and mission-critical system support
  • Work Location —this role will be onsite at our Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA offices with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office
  • Occasional travel to government sites, launch facilities, or partner locations may be required
