What they actually want (must-haves)
  • Strong hands-on experience across the end-to-end lifecycle of lending and leasing products in private credit, asset finance, banking or a closely comparable regulated environment.
  • Practical experience implementing, migrating or enhancing a lending administration platform: requirements, configuration, data, testing, cutover and BAU embedding.
  • Strong operational accounting knowledge: interest and fee calculations, cash allocation, accruals, postings, reconciliations and downstream financial-reporting impacts.
  • A track record of owning cross-functional change delivery, not just coordinating or administering it.
  • Experience designing business requirements, process maps, controls, test scenarios, acceptance criteria and implementation plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, diagnosing whether an issue originates in contractual interpretation, process, data, configuration or integration.
Nice to have
  • Experience with Aspire or a comparable loan and lease administration platform.
  • Experience of multi-fund structures, participations or syndicated lending, foreign-currency facilities or complex fee structures.
  • A relevant professional qualification in accounting, finance, operations, business analysis or project/change management, or equivalent practical experience.
