  • Strong experience managing enterprise networking in-house (routing/switching, firewalling, VPN, segmentation, Wi-Fi, WAN/internet edge)
  • Practical experience operating hybrid environments across AWS and Azure, including cloud networking fundamentals (VPC/VNet, routing, security boundaries)
  • Identity and access platform knowledge including Active Directory and cloud identity integration patterns (e.g., Azure AD/Entra concepts as used in your environment)

  • Ability to design and implement resilient platforms: backups, restore testing, DR runbooks, and high availability patterns
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading small technical teams (e.g., 2–6 people) with hands-on involvement

  • Experience IT Service Management practices (e.g., ITIL aligned), especially change governance and problem management
What the job really is
