What the job really is

As a Senior Backend Engineer at SumUp, you will be responsible for building and maintaining backend services for core neobanking features such as bank transfers and payment processing. You will take end-to-end ownership of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment while also shaping technical architecture and promoting best practices in code quality and security.
