What they actually want (must-haves)
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and modern UI component libraries like Shadcn UI
  • Experience with modern client-side state management and data-fetching libraries (TanStack Query, Zustand, or Redux Toolkit)
  • Strong expertise in server-side development using Node.js or Python (FastAPI)
  • Experience with ORMs or Query Builders such as Prisma, Drizzle, TypeORM, or SQLAlchemy
  • Strong expertise in relational database modeling, query optimization, indexing, and management with PostgreSQL
  • Practical experience applying SOLID principles, basic software design patterns (Factory, Singleton, Observer, etc.), and clean architecture principles
Nice to have
  • Experience with caching strategies using Redis, or exposure to NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
  • Exposure to GraphQL, microservices architecture, and event-driven patterns (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Understanding of web security best practices (OWASP Top 10, OAuth2, JWT) and web performance optimization techniques
