What they actually want (must-haves)
  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration, IT infrastructure, or a similar hands-on technical role
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, switching, and wireless networking
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows, and macOS environments
  • Experience with identity and access management, endpoint management, security controls, and user lifecycle administration
  • Experience supporting printers, production/label printing systems, audiovisual equipment, conference rooms, kiosks, and other network-connected devices
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently diagnose issues across endpoints, applications, identity, networking, and peripherals

  • Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure
  • Experience supporting specialized manufacturing systems, production equipment, or operational technology
What the job really is

In this role, you will manage IT operations across two facilities, focusing on hardware, software, networking, and user support. Your responsibilities include administering Microsoft 365, maintaining network infrastructure, supporting production-floor technology, and ensuring compliance with IT and cybersecurity standards. You will also provide hands-on technical support and manage IT vendors while traveling between locations as needed.
