What the job really is

As an Optomechanical Engineer at Scout Space, you will lead the design and development of hardware systems for on-orbit perception and autonomy capabilities. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed mechanical designs for optomechanical space payloads, collaborating with various engineering teams, and testing prototype systems to validate designs. You will also perform thermal, shock, and motion analyses to ensure system integrity.
