What they actually want (must-haves)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Strong technical foundations in Linux, networking, systems, and software development workflows
  • Hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines
  • Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or equivalent technologies

  • Experience deploying software in distributed, on-premises, or edge environments is highly desirable, but not required
What the job really is

As a DevOps Engineer at Rhombus Power, you will be responsible for the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of software, from development to production across various environments. Your role involves building and improving CI/CD systems, automating deployments, and troubleshooting issues across the stack. You will work closely with software engineers and other teams to ensure reliable and secure software delivery, while also having opportunities for travel to support deployments in diverse environments.
