What they actually want (must-haves)
  • At least 12 years of progressively responsible experience in data, digital health, health information systems, analytics, applied AI, or related areas
  • Experience working in global public health and with Ministries of Health or other government health institutions
  • Demonstrated experience in data architecture and systems, including interoperability, data standards, and governance
  • Experience translating public health problems into practical data or AI approaches
  • Experience operating at the intersection of strategy and implementation with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience assessing digital or AI initiatives for feasibility, value, risk, and sustainability
Nice to have
  • Experience in primary health care, cardiovascular health, epidemic preparedness, or health systems strengthening
  • Familiarity with health data and interoperability approaches such as FHIR/HL7 or WHO SMART Guidelines
  • Experience applying AI or advanced analytics to public health problems
  • Experience in multilingual and resource-constrained environments
  • Proficiency in languages in addition to English
