What they actually want (must-haves)
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience or a relevant tertiary qualification (degree level or higher) or Microsoft Certification alongside strong experience
  • Proven experience leading the technical direction of a team or squad
  • Strong grounding in software engineering practices and architectural patterns (SOLID, YAGNI and similar)
  • Ability to write clean, performant code and review others' work effectively
  • Experience developing solutions for Cloud/SaaS web environments, ideally with the Microsoft Azure platform
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, React or Angular, and skills across modern JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
Nice to have
  • Experience with Terraform to manage IaC and Azure DevOps for code deployments
