What they actually want (must-haves)
  • Approximately 5+ years' experience supporting or working within a live electronic trading environment
  • Strong equities knowledge and experience supporting electronic equity trading
  • Strong understanding of electronic order and trade flows and the controls surrounding a live trading environment
  • Experience managing or monitoring trading limits and controls
  • Sufficient technical understanding of electronic trading environments, including FIX protocols and low-latency trading systems
  • Experience responding to trading or production incidents and coordinating across multiple teams
Nice to have
  • Experience with futures
  • Broader multi-asset experience
  • Strong knowledge of US markets and early APAC markets, particularly Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Korea
  • Scripting, automation or data analysis experience, including Python

What the job really is

In this role, you will join the Production Trading Services team to oversee QRT's live trading environment, ensuring effective and reliable trading operations.
