5+ years professional experience building large scale and real time or near real time cloud systems
Strong programming and debugging skills, with proficiency in Java Backend
Demonstrated experience with systems that operate at high scale
Experience in designing and operating event-driven and stream-processing systems on Kafka or Kinesis
Creating and working with scalable Java-based micro-services
Working with databases (preferably Postgres or other SQL based DB)

Building shared platforms consumed by other engineering teams

What the job really is

As a Senior Software Engineer at project44, you will work on the Visibility Platform team to develop and enhance core systems that process real-time logistics data.
