  • Proven experience in product management owning a distinct product area, ideally focused on developer platforms, PaaS, or cloud infrastructure
  • Understanding of building, deploying, and running applications in the cloud
  • Familiarity with building software using languages such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, Go, or Rust
  • Hands-on experience or close collaboration with CI/CD workflows, Docker/OCI container technologies, and intuitive API design
  • Daily use of modern AI tools to research, draft, and prototype workflows
  • Strong perspective on autonomous agent architecture and agentic workflows
Nice to have
  • Enthusiasm for using and testing the platform capabilities you help build
  • Experience using Kubernetes, or building self-service platforms on Kubernetes
What the job really is

As a Product Manager at Upsun, you will own a significant area of the Upsun Cloud platform, focusing on the strategy and roadmap while collaborating closely with engineering teams. Your role involves defining problems, exploring solutions, and ensuring that the features you develop enhance the developer experience for both human users and AI agents. You will also engage with customers to advocate for their needs and work across teams to align product development with market strategies.
