What they actually want (must-haves)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related infrastructure discipline
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS or another major public cloud, with significant AWS experience strongly preferred
  • 1+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience, preferably using Terraform and/or Terragrunt
  • Working experience within an AWS multi-account environment

What the job really is

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Platform Science, you will be part of the CloudOps team responsible for managing foundational cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your role will involve implementing and maintaining cloud services, managing identity and access, configuring networking components, and building self-service workflows. You will also work on security, disaster recovery, and cost optimization initiatives while utilizing Infrastructure as Code and AI-assisted engineering tools.
