What the job really is

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Takeoff team at Pilot, you will lead complex projects related to core accounting systems that impact customer financials. Your role involves setting technical direction, making architectural decisions, and collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions. You will also mentor other engineers and address production issues to enhance system reliability.
