  • Experience building or materially upgrading a fraud programme
  • Hands-on experience configuring and tuning a fraud or transaction monitoring platform
  • Data fluency to interrogate transaction data
  • Working knowledge of the EU and UK fraud regulatory pipeline

  • Experience in a Lithuanian or UK regulated entity
  • Experience as a named fraud prevention officer or equivalent
  • Card scheme rules knowledge, and chargeback and dispute experience
  • SQL and Python, and practical use of machine learning for anomaly detection
  • An information security or fraud-adjacent security background
What the job really is

As a Fraud Manager at Payhawk, you will lead the fraud prevention function across two licensed entities, developing frameworks, detection logic, and regulatory implementations. Your role involves collaboration with information security, engineering, and compliance teams to create effective fraud detection and intervention models. You will also be responsible for reporting to Boards and Risk Committees, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory requirements.
