What they actually want (must-haves)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3-4 years of overall IT experience, including hands-on MuleSoft development and production support experience
  • Hands-on experience with Mule Runtime 4.x (4.9.x preferred), Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, and API-led connectivity
  • Hands-on experience with DataWeave for data transformation and mapping, and experience writing custom Java classes/components within MuleSoft applications
  • Working understanding of MuleSoft development and coding standards and best practices
  • Familiarity with maintaining and administering on-premises Windows servers, including patch management and server health monitoring

  • Exposure to MuleSoft runtime upgrades, Java version upgrades, and hybrid deployment environments
  • Exposure to post-patching/post-upgrade validation, health-check procedures, and change management practices
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments for MuleSoft solutions
  • Exposure to application and log monitoring tools (AppDynamics, ELK, or similar)
