What the job really is

As a Lead Designer on Nextdoor's Consumer Product team, you will shape how neighbors connect through digital experiences, collaborating with designers, product managers, engineers, and researchers. Your role will involve leading design critiques, coaching a team of designers, managing design capacity across product areas, and contributing hands-on design work. You will also advocate for your team's growth and represent design perspectives in product discussions.
