What the job really is

The Nashville Zoo is offering a veterinary externship for 4th-year veterinary students, focusing on exotic animal medicine. Interns will assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in medical care, including surgeries and lab work, while also engaging in animal husbandry and maintaining hospital operations. The role includes a presentation at the end of the externship and requires a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week for at least four weeks.
