What they actually want (must-haves)
  • Hands-on experience managing FDM / FFF 3D printers (calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation)
  • Knowledge of slicer software (think OrcaSlicer and Simplify3D)
  • Experience in a production, manufacturing, or fabrication environment
  • Time management – ability to manage your queue across overlapping jobs, machines and deadlines

What the job really is

As a 3D Printing Technician at Variloom, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining 3D printers, primarily focusing on flexible filament FDM/FFF printing. Your role will involve managing production processes, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with design and engineering teams to optimize workflows. You will also handle inventory and logistics management tasks, contributing to the overall efficiency of the production environment.
