What the job really is

As a Senior Accountant at Metropolis, you will manage key aspects of the financial close process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and maintaining internal controls. Your responsibilities include preparing complex journal entries, supporting audits, conducting technical accounting research, and collaborating with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting. You will also identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within the accounting function.
