What they actually want (must-haves)
  • 2+ years experience with robotics software for physical systems in a commercial environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of ML model concepts such as training and architectures

  • Strong programming skills in C/C++/Python in a Linux environment
  • Functional proficiency with software concepts such as memory management and threading

  • Experience deploying ML models to resource-constrained hardware
  • Experience with CUDA and GPU processing techniques
  • Proficiency with hard example mining, active learning or dataset composition techniques
  • Experience calculating metrics for and evaluating autonomous vehicle models
What the job really is

As a Robotics Engineer II at May Mobility, you will be responsible for training, integrating, and testing machine learning models for autonomous vehicle software. Your role will involve optimizing on-vehicle software for reliability, coordinating real-world tests, diagnosing issues, and developing tools for performance analysis. You will work within a team to enhance the autonomy systems that drive the company's innovative vehicles.
