What they actually want (must-haves)
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience with Python, C/C++, OpenHTF, TypeScript, or other scripting languages for test automation
  • Working knowledge of hardware test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, custom test fixtures)
  • Test fixture and station design and build experience
  • Hands-on experience with prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification, and manufacturing support
  • Experience with embedded systems design and communication protocols (CAN, USB, SPI, I2C, UART)
Nice to have
  • Experience with hardware test frameworks (e.g., OpenHTF, TypeScript, React, Electron, gRPC, protobuf, and SQLite)
  • Exposure to MES/ERP integration experience, including traveler, BOM, and label generation (ZPL/Zebra)
  • Exposure to Cloud data plumbing experience (S3, Lambda/SQS) and dashboarding in Grafana or Mode
  • Exposure to contract manufacturer (CM) relationships and global production ramps
  • Familiarity with test data pipelines, traceability, or genealogy systems
