What the job really is

As a Service Operations Specialist at Lumos, you will be responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining fiber optic services and equipment in both residential and business settings. Your daily tasks will include setting up fiber facilities, troubleshooting various network equipment, and performing preventive maintenance, all while collaborating with customers and the Service Operations Center to ensure reliable connectivity.
