What they actually want (must-haves)
  • 3+ years of QA/QC experience within the mission-critical industry
  • Experience performing field inspections and quality verification activities on mechanical, electrical, controls, life-safety, or other critical infrastructure systems
  • Knowledge of construction quality control processes, equipment receiving inspections, deficiency tracking, and corrective action processes
  • Experience reviewing technical documentation, equipment submittals, manufacturer documentation, inspection reports, and turnover packages
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inspection records and equipment traceability
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple project stakeholders
Nice to have
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred, but not required

  • Experience with mechanical and/or electrical critical infrastructure equipment
  • Familiarity with commissioning, startup, testing, and project turnover processes
What the job really is

As a QCX Engineer at LotusWorks, you will oversee quality control and commissioning activities for large-scale data center projects. Your daily tasks will include inspecting and verifying equipment delivery, reviewing documentation for compliance, and performing field inspections to ensure installations meet project specifications. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to track quality issues and ensure all equipment is properly documented and ready for commissioning.
