What they actually want (must-haves)
  • 3+ years of experience with React Native or JavaScript, including creating custom components for production mobile applications
  • Solid understanding of software design, development, and testing concepts, including Data Structures, Methods, Number Systems, Algorithm Analysis, and Product Development Cycles
  • Experience identifying and troubleshooting bugs, with a strong testing mindset — unit, integration, and experience working with APIs
  • Experience working in Agile methodologies, including sprint ceremonies and iterative delivery
  • Good working knowledge of network communications, preferably OSI model technologies
  • Ability to learn new programming languages and adapt quickly to new tools
Nice to have
  • Experience building and deploying production applications for both Android and iOS

The Software Engineer - Mobile at Lightspeed is responsible for designing, developing, and testing mobile applications for Android and iOS using React Native and JavaScript.
