What the job really is

The Mathematical Scientist for AI Safety Research will engage in foundational research to develop safe AI systems, collaborating closely with Yoshua Bengio and a team of experts. Responsibilities include exploring new AI architectures, analyzing safety requirements, contributing to theoretical work, and guiding experiments to address critical safety questions. The role requires staying updated on AI safety research and effectively communicating complex ideas to diverse audiences.
