What they actually want (must-haves)
  • Proven experience programming and operating Mazak CNC machines using Mazatrol
  • Ability to independently perform full setups and run jobs from print to finished part
  • Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane, including general understanding of rigging
  • Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T interpretation
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to ask for help when needed
Nice to have
  • Direct experience with Mazak Integrex machines, especially large-format equipment
  • Experience with multi-axis machining (preferably 5-axis or mill-turn equipment)
  • Familiarity with EIA/G-code programming in addition to Mazatrol
  • Background in heavy equipment, aggregate, mining, or related industries
What the job really is

The CNC Machinist / Mazatrol Programmer at Kimball Equipment Company will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating a Mazak Integrex E1850V 12 Smooth X CNC machine. Daily tasks include interpreting engineering drawings, performing quality checks, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with various teams to ensure production efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
