What they actually want (must-haves)
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license authorizing practice in Kansas
  • Minimum of two to three years of experience providing health education or counseling on topics such as nutrition, physical activity, cholesterol, hypertension, stress management, alcohol use, and tobacco or nicotine cessation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of disease prevention, wellness, chronic-condition management, motivational interviewing, and behavior-change counseling
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a remote team
Nice to have
  • Experience in employee wellness, population health, care management, disease management, occupational health, or onsite health coaching
  • Experience interpreting biometric screening results and translating clinical information into clear, actionable education
  • Health coaching, diabetes education, case management, or related certification.
What the job really is

The LifeCycle Proactive Health Nurse will work as an independent contractor to provide onsite health coaching and education to employees at various worksites in Kansas.
