What they actually want (must-haves)
  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program (or equivalent experience)
  • 4–7 years of corporate/securities/capital markets paralegal experience at a law firm, public company, or financial services/asset management firm
  • Direct, hands-on experience preparing, coordinating, and filing 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and registration statements (S-1/S-3) via EDGAR
  • Hands-on experience supporting capital markets transactions, including closing mechanics and due diligence coordination

  • Advanced MS Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Familiarity with AI tools to support legal workflow and efficiency
  • Prior experience at a crypto, fintech, or asset management company, or exposure to digital asset products
What the job really is

The Paralegal for Capital Markets at Grayscale will primarily support SEC reporting and registration statement filings, working closely with in-house and outside counsel, Finance, and Compliance. Daily tasks include coordinating the preparation and filing of periodic reports, managing the SEC filing calendar, and assisting with capital markets transactions and corporate governance documentation.
