What they actually want (must-haves)
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst within payments, banking or FinTech
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian payments ecosystem and infrastructure, ideally including experience with Interac e-Transfer or other Canadian payment rails
  • Experience translating complex business, product or payment scheme requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specifications
  • Strong technical understanding of APIs, cloud technologies and modern system architectures
  • A good understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience supporting products from requirements through to delivery
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience using data to support decision-making
Nice to have
  • Knowledge or experience of the US payments landscape, particularly real-time payment schemes such as FedNow and RTP
  • Experience working with real-time or instant payments
  • Broader knowledge of payment schemes, payment infrastructure and how financial institutions move money
What the job really is

As a Business Analyst at Form3, you will play a crucial role in the development of the Canadian Real-Time Rail payment gateway. You will work closely with the Product Manager to gather and translate payment scheme and business requirements into actionable user stories and specifications, while collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
