What the job really is

As a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer, you will support ongoing projects involving the installation, upgrade, testing, configuration, and implementation of ISV software. Your role includes monitoring software performance, providing on-call support, and assisting with technical questions and problem resolution. You will work with z/OS components and engage in incident and problem handling, configuration, and customization tasks.
