  • 8-10 years of experience with Energy Modelling and Power Market Analysis
  • An extensive background in energy market modelling
  • High level of numeracy, computer, and web literacy

What the job really is

The Lead, Energy Market Analyst will oversee the production of energy market models and lead research in power markets while working with a team of analysts. Daily responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of data updates, analyzing and processing data for market models, maintaining large databases, and troubleshooting models for errors. The role requires a strong understanding of energy economics and experience with modeling software like PLEXOS and Aurora.
