What the job really is

As a Manufacturing Process & Equipment Engineer at Divergent, you will be responsible for transitioning next-generation Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) production equipment into high-volume manufacturing. Your day-to-day tasks will include troubleshooting equipment issues, driving improvements in reliability and efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure production standards are met. You will also support the installation and commissioning of new equipment while documenting lessons learned to enhance future deployments.
