  • AHIMA certified credentials (RHIA, RHIT, CCS) or AAPC certified credentials (CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC or CRC)
  • 2+ years of coding experience in a hospital and/or coding consulting role
  • Proficiency with coding specialties such as Same Day Surgery, Observation, Injections/Infusions, Ancillary, Emergency Department, and E/M leveling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

As an Outpatient Coding Consultant at Datavant, you will review medical records and assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.
