What the job really is

The Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) will support the Department of the Air Force Family Advocacy Program by providing clinical expertise in the prevention and intervention of domestic violence, child maltreatment, and Problematic Sexual Behavior in Children and Youth. Daily responsibilities include performing clinical assessments and treatments, delivering training to leadership, collaborating with community programs, and implementing prevention strategies under the guidance of the Family Advocacy Program Manager.
