  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 6–10 years of experience working in storage systems engineering or infrastructure operations
  • Strong hands-on experience with object storage or distributed file systems in production environments
  • Deep experience with one or more storage protocols (e.g., S3, NFS) and distributed architectures such as Ceph, DAOS, or similar
  • Proficiency in a systems programming language such as Go, C, or Rust
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, and scalable system architecture
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with storage observability tools, telemetry pipelines, and open-source data stacks (e.g., ClickHouse, Prometheus, Grafana)
What the job really is

In this role, you will be part of the Storage Engineering team at CoreWeave, focusing on building and operating a high-performance AI storage platform. Your responsibilities will include designing reliable storage systems for hyperscale cloud environments and optimizing cloud-native storage protocols. You will also be involved in solving complex architectural problems and mentoring peers on best practices.
