  • 6+ years of experience building and securing software, including hands-on product or application security experience
  • Experience securing modern backend systems, web applications, and APIs
  • Experience performing threat modelling, security design reviews, and vulnerability assessment

What the job really is

As a Senior Application Security Engineer at MetaMask, you will be responsible for embedding security into all phases of the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that products meet high security standards, perform threat modeling, and assess vulnerabilities. Additionally, you will document vulnerabilities, guide engineering teams on resolutions, and contribute to security engineering projects.

Benefits
  • Salary range for US-based candidates: $130,000 — $218,000 USD
  • Compensation for candidates based outside the US will be determined based on location, experience, and skills during the interview process
