What the job really is

As a Staff Backend Engineer at Carbon Direct, you will design, build, and deploy backend services and data pipelines while ensuring the reliability and scalability of the platform. You will take ownership of the entire data flow from ingestion to API exposure, make architectural decisions, and support a developer-friendly environment. Additionally, you will mentor other engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate their needs into technical solutions.
