  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • Bachelor’s degree in international relations, political science, national security studies, or a related field

What the job really is

The Nuclear Stockpile Stewardship Subject Matter Expert (SME) at ANSER will act as a primary advisor on the sustainment, safety, security, and reliability of the U.S. nuclear stockpile. Daily responsibilities include providing technical support for policy development, coordinating with various stakeholders, and analyzing nuclear weapons effects data to inform Air Force policy and operational planning. This role requires active engagement with both DoD and non-DoD organizations to ensure alignment with national strategy and stockpile requirements.
