What the job really is

The Certification Program Counselor at Achievement First plays a crucial role in ensuring that educators meet state certification compliance requirements while providing support for their certification journey. This position involves developing individualized certification plans, facilitating meetings with school leaders, and maintaining accurate progress tracking for approximately 200 educators. The counselor also serves as a liaison with state certification offices and manages partnerships with educator preparation programs.
